The Hamburg-based artist collective Well Wired Team consists of three artists: Kalle Maukel (crocheted wire objects, presentation frame), Werner Jarmatz (light design/programming, technical interaction), and Boris Vogeler (sound design/programming, technical interaction).

The Medium
The Well Wired Team exhibits three expansive wire objects that are inspired by molecular structures and electron density maps that are being researched at European XFEL. The surfaces of the three-dimensional objects serve as 2-dimensional reflection surfaces for projectors. This creates 3-dimensional motifs that correspond to the molecular structures on and are pleasantly graceful, captivating and calming. We make the invisible visible and show how fascinating new creations emerge from a kind of "dimensional leap". The installation is accompanied by sounds that emphasise the atmosphere of the installation, light and sound complement each other and enhance their respective effects.
