trajectory

débora Ewing

it seems at times
we're so close
to same

origami eggs
unfolding or
violets cropping
near

but we're asymptotic
tending to zero
finding limerence
in
infinity

if this is entanglement
if I believe

myself

The Science

In the spirit of Gödel, Escher, Bach - an Eternal Golden Braid, débora finds and uses conceptual skeletons to map patterns from simple science and psychology to visual art, cooking, gardening, or (in this case) poetry. We humans are pattern-extractors.

The Poet

débora Ewing digs into life’s intersections and interprets what she discovers there. Find her writing and art at Dodging the Rain, Sonder Midwest, Alluvian, Shot-glass Journal, and Plainsongs Poetry Magazine. Short fiction ‘Coloring Outside the Lines’ and ‘Full Moon New Year’ are at Jerry Jazz Musician.
